Filtration
Characteristic
FEP: Filters suitable for removing solid particles up to 5 microns, including liquids, emulsions and oil particles. Its strong mechanical resistance makes these filters the ideal initial protection for the beginning of a compressed air installation and thus be able to retain impurities. For example, its installation at the entrance of the dryers is recommended to act as a pre-filter for the FES models.
FES and FEX : Interception filters that take advantage of the principle of coalescence, suitable for removing solid particles of up to 0.01 microns and up to 0.01 mg/m3 of residual oil.
FEZ: There are industrial processes that, in addition to requiring oil-free air, also require the removal of oil vapors and odors. For these purposes, the activated carbon filter through the adsorption process attracts all the odors and vapors that remain after the oil removal process, and keeps them in the molecules of the activated carbon grains. Due to this, the filters of the FES and FEX models have to be placed before the FEZ filters. The filter is made up of a thick layer of activated carbon covered by a fiber coating, which maintains its position thanks to an internal and external stainless steel mesh.
Saturation indicator (optional): indicates the need to replace the cartridge. Also available in version with differential pressure gauge.
Automatic condensate drain (optional)
